Complex-Compound Sentence in Argumentative Paragrpah

Television Program

Nowadays, there are many kinds of program on TV, whether it is children program, teenager program or adult program. If we analyze it carefully, most of the program is unclear. It does not give positive side at all. For instance “Super Deal” program, I think it is really not good program, because we can not take any positive side. What they show only how we can get money instantly. Same goes to Deal or no Deal. Although it is liked by many people because they can get money instantly, it will only make people lazier to get money normally, and it will only make them crazy because of money. the truth is money should be the one who run after us (human), not human runs after money.

Persuasive Essay

Should Cartoon be showed on TV?

Should cartoon be showed on TV? Some parents say that cartoon only give negative side for children. But some parents think that cartoon also give positive side. I strongly believe that cartoon should not be showed on TV.
Some parents think that letting children watching cartoon will develop their imagination. So it will make children more creative if their children often watch cartoon. Because they usually imitate from the cartoon things which make them interested.
On the other hand, I disagree. There will be always distraction. Children are often addicted by cartoon. Even they will not feel hungry or do not want to eat; they will only focus on their cartoon. Furthermore they often imitate what they watch from cartoon such as hitting, lying, mocking etc. it is on of the reason why cartoon should not be showed on TV.
For all of the reason, if cartoons are still on of television program, they should select the cartoons carefully, because not all cartoons are appropriate to be showed. They should not only consider the funny side, also they should consider the education which can be acquired from the cartoon itself.

Example Compound Sentence in Paragraph

Paradise Island

On the last holiday, my family and I went to Bali. It was our first time going there, and we were really excited. We were going there by our car, and we asked someone else to drive our car, because my father does not know Bali’s route. Although we were just 7 people, it was really fun, and we did not feel tired at all. Arriving there, we went to Kuta Beach directly. It is really a beautiful beach, so it is not surprising if it is called Paradise Island. As I though, many people spent their holiday in Bali, because it is proved by the amount of people who gather in Kuta beach. Besides we visited Kuta beach, also we went to some souvenir shops, and we bought many souvenirs for the handicraft of our relative. This holiday is really unforgettable, because I can spend holiday with my family, and we could come to that beautiful beach.
