Essay
1. Main clause is independent clause, it means that clause which can stand alone and do not depend to another clause.
Sub clause is dependent clause, it means clause which depend to another clause and it can’t stand alone.
2. Adjective clause, because adjective clause is clause which is as adjective that modified noun or pronoun.
3. Adverbial clause is clause which has function as adverb.
Example : 1. Shut the door before you go out.
2. I live in Jombang Since 1994.
3. I ate breakfast before I went to collage.
4. Past participle is used as adjective which the position after or before noun.
Example : The man killed by his is my old friend.
5. Gerund is not same as present participle. Because if gerund, the noun does not do something but if present participle the noun does something.
Example : 1. The boy wearing a red hat is my brother.
2. The girl sweeping the yard is her sister.
